What is XAYA?
XAYA is a platform for serverless, unstoppable games. Instead of a company's game server, the rules run in a Game State Processor (GSP) — an open program that every player can run and verify. Your account is a blockchain name you own outright, WCHI is the fuel that powers moves, and the XayaX bridge runs it all on Polygon today. If the rules say you won, no one on earth can say otherwise.

Blockchains are slow; games are fast. Game channels square that circle: the match happens off-chain at full speed between the players themselves, every state cryptographically signed by both sides — and the chain only steps in to open the match, close it, and settle disputes. That's how a bomber duel can tick eight times a second with real WCHI riding on the result, and still be impossible to cheat. Daniel Kraft invented the technique for decentralized game worlds; the paper below is the canonical reference.

One on-chain move opens the channel — and locks any wager. This is the only part the chain has to see.
Play — off-chain, full speed
Players exchange cryptographically signed game states directly. Instant, free, and every state provably agreed by both sides.
Close or dispute
Both agree? One closing move settles it. Someone cheats or vanishes? The chain replays the signed proofs and rules — no referee needed.

Before "blockchain gaming" was a phrase, there was Huntercoin — the first game to live entirely on a blockchain, where players earned coins through "human mining" in a shared world. Built by Andrew Colosimo and Mikhail Syndeev and maintained by Daniel Kraft, its scaling pains led directly to the invention of game channels — and to XAYA. This arcade is that lineage, ten years on.
